Kingsway International Christian Centre was started in September 1992 when Pastor Matthew and 300 members rented a hall at Holloway Boys School, North London for their sercives. Within a year of it's existence KICC acquired a building at No 1 Darnley Road in Hackney which was paid for in a year and a half. The Church grew rapidly in two years to almost 2,000 congregants.
By 1998 six satellite churches were established in London with close to 5000 worshippers attending the main service at Darnley Road.
In August 1998 KICC moved to 57 Waterden Road which was named "The Miracle Centre". This is an eight acre-facility that has a 4000-seater auditorium and parking for more than 1000 cars.
It is our vision to welcome 25000 members into the fellowship of our church family by the year 2010.
KICC Nigeria was launched in 1999 with a vision to pioneer city churches around the world. KICC Headquarters Church in Maryland Lagos, currently has over two thousand worshippers.
KICC has sent ministers on short and long term projects in Europe, America and Africa. It is also our vision to send members on short and long term ministry projects to every continent.
KICC appears in millions of homes throughout the European and African satellite network. KICC broke ground in 1999, by having one of the Senior Pastor's messages at a US conference packaged successfully for the mass US television market. It is our vision to broadcast the gospel world-wide, using every electronic means.
The Church has experienced God's presence and His miraculous intervention in its undertakings and outreaches. The Church is raising champions in every walk of life and dreams are being fulfilled in the lives of its members.
